Can You Mount An Upforce Electric Furnace Upside Down?
I have a 16 X 80 mobile home, it has a gas furnace but with the high cost of propane i decided to go electric. The furnace that I got was an updraft electric furnace and I just set it in my dining room and made a custom lid for it to blow the air through the house. It is working ok but I am having a problem with the pipes freezing so I am wanting to see if i can replace my old furnace in the factory furnace location. The only thing is the factory furnace is downforce ( blows air out the bottom ) and its gas and the new one is electric one is upforce ( blows air out the top )
can i mount it upside down in the factory spot?
