Go To T-mobile Store Or Call Customer Service?
First thing I want to mention is my dad is the kind of guy that likes to put off on everything.. I mean he waits until the very last minute or forgets to do it. Second, I’m on a family plan that involves my dad, my little brother and me and the account is under my dad’s name. I recently received a really good promotion from T-mobile that involves saving over 60% on a monthly bill. IT’S A REALLY GOOD DEAL!!! Do you think it’s a good idea to take it to any T-mobile store to get it taken care of (I think it’s faster) or call the customer service (usually not home during the day)??

you should call customer service. i just had to deal with some things with tmobile, and went to a store, and they said only cust service can deal with anything like ur situation and mine. they are open 24/7..so u don’t hafta worry about them being closed. i hope that helped..and i wish i got that promotion lol
T-Mobile stores sometimes really screw up account changes. (I don’t think they have full access to the system.) I recommend that you call. Customer care is open until 10 pm pacific time (not 24 hours anymore unfortunately). If you’re not listed on the account as an authorized user, you’ll need to have your dad call.
um some people in the tmobile store might be kinda clueless depends where you go. But the people on tmobile customer care are usually really generous. Like when my aunts hous flooded she called adn said she need some more minutes to buy cause they almost ran out on their family plan, and he gave all 5 of them 500 free minutes!
Tmobile is really cool!
Being the account is in Dad’s name, you will have to go through Dad first for approval. Then I would go to the T Mobile store to ask my questions for the needed answers.
I strongly believe you should go to the store because
- You won’t be put on hold
-you will know whether you get approved w/o the wait
- Pick your phone
- Pay all the fees
- it’s just more efficient,safe, and fast
If at all possible, go in person, wherever they tell you. They’re far less likely to give you the runaround in person. That’s just the way it is. I’ll bet you get your discount pronto!
