im planning to get a laptop for my birthday but im confused which to buy. i like the sony vaio cs and the new macbook. definitely i want something that’s worth the money. help me decide. i know the basic, but i want opinion from other people who actually owned one (vaio or macbook) with regards to specs. i have the informations below. can you tell me which should i take in consideration? thanks a lot.

Saw someone using a pay phone today & it made me think “God I haven’t used one of those in years!”. I remember when I was teenager always making sure I had a 10p piece so I could ring my Mum for a lift home. My teenage children have got mobiles & I don’t think either have ever used a pay phone. They probably wouldn’t know how!

What is the best Corse of action? What’s the best current deal that the T-Mobile offer ? what are it’s pro’s and con’s?
I will be purchasing a laptop this month and once bought I will want to get online but what do I need?
I’m in the dark ages with all this (shame on me)
I’m currently on a flext deal and have a family member who worked at T-Mobile for a short time; they got me set up on a “family and friends” deal, which basically cut’s my pay monthly bill in half. I was told that if you simply put the internet on as an extra during your contact; IE not at the beginning, you get stung as it costs less if you simply add the internet to your contract at the beginning? Now that my upgrade is due I want to make sure I get the best possible handset to go online with. Any information anybody could offer would truly be appreciated.

Well, where shall I start, top or the bottom, best to start from the start where it will go right… ok people listen up here is the story on my little dilemma on a specific friend and my lover-boy (stating the guy I’m going out with at current)…
Ever since I started to going out with a guy since June this year, its been good and well, linking him three times isn’t too bad, not only that we’ve done what all lovers do…. Show love and affection, sharing the passionate kisses and hugs… first day strolls in the park.. went well to plan not to mansion talking, joking about…. We couldn’t keep eyes of one another…. Waiting for his call after I go back home… then four about 4 months he hadn’t called me as hed lost his fone on the bus after seeing me for several hours… he had to get a replacement sim-card and new mobile… Then few weeks later down the track he was on msn….. told me hed lost his number…fair do forgave him for that.. then during the night he called me up told me the story. After that he calls me at night…. Linked him 2nd time round wasn’t too bad as his friend went on holiday, he had his mates place all to himself…. So we linked up on like Saturday or something like that .. spend qualtty time together, asked him if he wanted to come to a fasion show… as well week back, he didn’t mind when ringing him he didn’t answer his fone as it went totally dead and outta battery.. linked up again 3rd time same thing.. went well…. This time I linked him on the 11th November, he fond me 10th novermber… during that week he had work, I understood that very well…. I even asked him “are you doing anything on this day as if u want u can come and see me suerpverise the young brownies” no response from him.. But anyways… I waited for a few days, the week begingign of 17th November waited still for his call, text message at night, no response either.. despite me having to text him to see how it is… worrying a lot…. There are a number of times where I havent slept well or eaten properly at home.
As his girlfriend you cant really blame me for being a little paranoid though I do feel and sense a few things in my mind and from the bottom of my heart of gold. Its been 20 days now sense I last heard from him… and am beinging to wonder if his ok or not, I send him emails, text gave him a call to see how his doing and all that, I even wanted to ask him if he wanted to come and see Sleeping beauty with me the phantom… ….
And now I have another dilemma, a friend of mine used to know a guy at her school and basically this guy knows my good friend who I used to study with, he one day added me ti facebook as my profile is only for people I know and trust the most… Me and this guy got talking asked him allot things, how he knew my good friend I studied on the course with, hit it off really well…. Then came the scenario of him wanting a gal, asking me to look for him, he kept on replying on me, asked me for money I said no, my exact words were “if you want money, you got to work for it”, and “if you want a girl don’t reply on me” I’ve said some few thing my mates ex student… then he wanted my mates number, I didn’t give it as me friend goes to me his a “loser”… what else I noticed in him was his ego headed mind began to show in him, through development stage of our friendship… there is a number of times where I’ve blocked him off my MSN messenger, and on facebook as well… after few months, weeks and days he began to realises he did wrong after me sending him an email telling him what I fought about him..”Loser”, “bully”.. and telling people what to do like what they can and cannot where etc etc…. I practically nailed him to the ground soo much that he had to change…. Then when he phoned me up on my mobile at night he said to me “sorry for I did”… “ive changed” there is a number of times where his confessed to me that he “really likes me” and has said “I love you”… And when he phoned me up after few months, weeks he has promised me that he wont ever do what ever it is that he said to me…. Because at one point he did hurt me not to mention being offensive against my disability…. So now he has called me up now x3 at night when im in bed….
What shall I do… I still love my other half im going out with sense June, but my mates ex-student is not only after me, but wants a relaionship with me too.., If it wasn’t for me my mates ex student who is now my friend now…. Said to me “I was thinking about u” and if it wasn’t for me he wouldn’t have changed…..
The kind of girl I am is strict when it comes to people double crossing me, hurting me or anything like that… I will give them a loada crap on what I think of them .because all people all ever do is mess with others, don’t take life at serious as they wanna make it to be, play mind games but just don’t see the true values of life is not worth anyone… I stand my grounds, I stand my opnion and my sentimal values of what values are all about….
What do i do people??? Im just stuck in

If I insulate all my windows with the styrofoam type insulation plus plastic over this along with heavy blankets, throw rugs on all floors, heat tape outside on pipes and in working order, water left trickling indoors, and plenty of warm blankets to use will my home remain warm to get through the winter. I live in lower part of Michigan (Macomb County) in a small older model type mobile home. I have heat tape outside on my pipes and I can eliminate any drafts by insulating all drafts from any windows as mentioned above. I have tried asking this question or similar a number of times and have yet to get any answers other than kerosene heaters (which i am against as they can cause fires, or space heaters which I hear can run the electric bill sky high) I am trying very hard to get someone to please come and look at my furnace which isnt working but so far no luck so I want to prepare myself in the meantime. Government assistance wont help because according to them I do not qualify.

I know that both aren’t exactly ideal, but for now this is all I can afford as I am raising two children on my own with absolutely no help from anybody. Where I live, it costs about the same to rent an apartment as it would to buy a mobile home.
There are pros and cons to both, so I would like other opinions please? The house we had before my divorce was on an acre, so we had our own yard, and that’s the main reason I’m considering a trailer, although it would be much much smaller. But to tell the truth, I’m scared of the negativity about “trailer parks”, that’s wrong, I know there are plenty of wonderful ones out there, but that’s how I feel. Plus, I’m guessing it costs a lot more to heat and cool a leaky mobile home.
I don’t have any other choice right now, if I could afford a real house I would love that, but sadly I can’t at this point in my life as I am starting over from scratch.

I recently moved to Sydney, Australia about 4 months. I will be traveling and work around Australia for the next couple of months. In October I went to a house warming party with my cousin (she is 24 and lives in Sydney). There I met a guy friend of hers that she has known since her University days (so about 5 years). I will call this guy “T”. “T” started chit chatting with me (just for a brief few minutes). About a month later he added me to Facebook. I accepted his request. I left Australia for about a month to travel around Asia. On my return he messaged me and asked me to go out for coffee. At the time I turned him down as I had just started a new job, moved into a new place, and as well was trying to adjust to my new life in Sydney. I told him I would get back to him once things settled. He facebooked chatted me a few weeks later and said he wanted to take me out – again, I told him that I would get back to him when I get the chance. He messaged me his mobile number. I gave him my mobile #. On New Years eve he messaged me “happy new year”. Finally a few weeks later I messaged him (on a Wednesday) and told him I would be available for coffee on a Sunday. We met in the park and then went for coffee. He started talking about his exes, (actually the same girl that had a house warming party) — he had dated a few years ago. He spoke very negatively about most of his exes describing as ‘boring, crazy etc’. She is a very successful investment banker who has hit it rich at the age of 24. He himself is the financial sector (System Analyst). He asked me whether I met any interesting guys in Sydney. I told him that I had only dated one guy a few years ago for a few months. I told him that I wasn’t really interested in meeting anyone in Sydney as I had to leave in a couple of months anyways, and also was here on my “own personal journey”. Anyways, he asked me on the first “date” he asked me if we could meet again to go to the Art gallery. I told him that it would be nice. A few hours of the date he texted me and told me that he had a wonderful time and would like to see me again. I responded a few hours later and told him I did too and we should plan to meet again.
He also told me that I should come out next Saturday for a friends birthday party (I had NO idea who this friend was). I agreed to go to the birthday provided my cousin would be there (I felt more comfortable this way as I really didn’t know anyone at the party). At the party he introduced me to a few of his core guy friends…we chatted for a few minutes. Unfortunately I had to leave early as my cousin wasn’t well and she was giving me a ride home. I later texted him the following morning and told him I had a great time and his friends were nice. He texted me back and told me that he wished I hadn’t left so early and that he could have given me a lift home. Oh well.
We got chatting on Facebook a couple of days later. He briefly asks me what my “type” of guy is. I responded by telling him that I don’t have a “type” and don’t believe in categorizing people. He responded with “I like you already”. He later mentions what I thought about one his friends (whether he was my type as he was the same religion as me). I told him that I really didn’t have a chance to get to know him and really didn’t know what to say. He then asks me if I wanted to go to the Art gallery & lunch. I agreed. We met and he paid for both. He then spends most of the time talking about himself and asks me again what my type of guy is. I briefly tell him a few qualities I look for. He tells me a few qualities he looks for. I explained my idea of “standards” and “deal breakers”. Again he brings up his friend and asks me what I think…I respond my saying, “why are you promoting your friend so much”….after that he goes quiet. I tell him how it is funny how know one in his group of friends know that we are seeing each other…he replies and tells me “oh yeah actually “N” knows that we went out for coffee together”. He ended up tagging along with me at the Apple store. At the end of the date he says “give me a buzz we should hang out again & come to my friends Birthday next Saturday”. I later on text my cousin and tell her how much I like “T” and how he wants to hang out with me again. She later on texts his friend, let’s call her “N” and says how cute it is that me and “T” are seeing each other. APPARENTLY “N” has no idea we went out with each other (so basically “T” lied to me and tried to keep me a secret). I don’t have a problem with this, but the fact that he LIED to me really annoyed me. Anyways, I call “T” and basically tell him that I have something weird and amusing to tell him…and basically catch him out on the lie. I tell him it was fun going on a couple of dates…he says “WHAT?! those were NOT dates we just hanging out as friends. Besides if I wanted to date you I would have asked your cousin first and date is dinner”. I told him that a date is “when a guy pays for yo

If I live in a mobile home, in Los Angeles County, and I want to shoot a short series for youtube featuring my mobile home, would I need permits? The whole crew will consist of about 5 people. We have absolutely no budget. No one is getting paid, and if we end up making any money at all, it will probably go towards costs of buying or renting equipment. What if we set up some sort of non-profit production company, would that make a difference, since it’s not commercial? We’re not doing it to make money, just for fun. I’m sure the neighbors in the park wouldn’t mind either, they’re all very laid back and friendly. Advice?
